This TV has a great picture quality. To adjust picture quality press the menu button on the remote. You can also adjust the sound quality. There's an option for surround sound. For anyone hearing impaired. The volume on this TV will get very loud. Another reviewer mentioned the sound was tinny. You have the option for that kind of sound, but you have the option to change the quality and tone of the sound. There are few options available for sound tone.
